DTF (Direct to Film) printing involves printing a design onto a specialized PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film using a DTF printer, applying adhesive powder, curing the powder with heat, and then transferring the design onto the fabric. DTF printing works across a variety of fabrics and materials while producing vibrant colors and detailed prints. When properly applied and cared for, DTF prints offer strong durability through repeated wear and washing, making them a versatile alternative to traditional heat-transfer methods.
Considerations
When printing DTF with JB, artwork can be produced in multiple sizes to accommodate approved garment dimensions and placement requirements. We offer DTF printing on both light and dark garments, with print sizes ranging from approximately 3" to 15". DTF is suitable for brands, agencies, institutions, and organizations requiring flexible full-color decoration across approved apparel, accessories, and soft goods.
