In 2006, the CDC released a Simple Respiratory Mask Design using Heavyweight 100% Cotton T-Shirts in it's Emerging Infectious Diseases journal. In 2020, given the current supply versus demand for protection in lieu of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have begun producing both Screen Printed and Non-Printed 100% Cotton Face Masks decreasing demand on limited supplies of industrially manufactured, disposables, which are desperately needed by hospitals and nursing homes at this time. The goal of this mask is to block droplets that carry airborne disease, which is why we chose a material capable of filtering them out and allowing the wearer to breathe. Therefore, the choice to implement cotton on both the inner and outer panels of the Face Mask was unanimous. Not only is cotton breathable, but it keeps the droplets and other airborne agents away, in addition to allowing you to scratch your nose or facial area without the risk of contamination. Comfort was another major concern of ours; Cotton is soft on the skin, which is why we opted for a tigthly woven double layer inner + outer weave construction on our 100% Cotton Face Masks. Please keep in mind that the Face Masks are Machine Washable which means they can be reused whenever needed :)

A sanitary workspace makes for a sanitary product however due to the nature of the COVID19 virus we highly recommend that you hand wash the Face Mask with soap and warm water and let air dry twenty-four hours before use.
